"We had a lovely room which had a roll top bath in a very big bathroom Staff were friendly and the pub was relaxing. Breakfast was good to set you up for the day It was in a remote area so in the evening there wasn’t anywhere to walk to and other pubs were of driving distance not walkable.."

"A really lovely hotel and the staff were all so friendly and attentive through our stay We did a spa morning whilst there and the massage was really good Also the restaurant was great with delicious food and a great setting especially sitting outside in the nice weather"

"Fantastic stay between Bath & Stonehenge. Surrounding towns provide tonnes of history, monuments and pleasant hills. Great carpark and good showers. It was an unusual hot night and the room had a fan!!! Great staff, I recommend."

We were left wondering if all the rooms in the hotel were full and perhaps they could have located us in a room with a window that opened. "The rooms were fine, but it’s more a bar and nightclub than a boutique hotel. After making the booking they sent a message informing us about the late night music which was not advertised in the description. I asked to cancel but they refused, and said they would allocate a quiet room instead. When we arrived they had downgraded the room type (no bath included as promised) and did not offer to alter the price."

Handy to have a restaurant in the hotel, especially for breakfast, which is a standard English and continental breakfast with a good amount of options. The coffees from their machines are pretty good too. Lovely hotel and hotel rooms. Would recommend."
