"The only issue we had on our stay was the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night. My concern is the lack of organization once guest started evacuating. Some people were still in their rooms and could be seen from the ground. No one came out from the hotel staff to let us know what was going on and guest kept going back into building. "The place was great for the price and staff was very helpful! I especially love the text message service available. Shoutout to Minako who was very attentive and friendly! The room did get very hot overnight and we did not know how to adjust it. Other than that, breakfast was also great and everyone was very kind and welcoming. I’d stay here again visiting Ottawa!"

"Good location , rooms and bathrooms need much more attention to detailed cleaning. Breakfast was ok. Building needs upgrades."

"We would stay here again but minor maintenance issues should be addressed. Mainly the shower curtain rod was damaged meaning the curtain could not be fully closed allowing water to escape onto the floor. Otherwise, a very comfortable experience."

"I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, very much! Very clean and tidy— my room and the main entrance to the hotel. Spacious room, especially the bathroom. The window blinds were excellent keeping out the morning daylight. The location of the hotel was so convenient being just off the highway, yet I didn’t notice any highway sounds. Having a gas station, a MacDonalds, Dollarama, grocery store and Canadian Tire in close proximity was an added bonus! Would definitely stay at this hotel again!"

The property is clean enough and I wouldn't be afraid to stay again, but let's say my house after a clean on Saturday is much cleaner. The owner wasn't going out of her way to accommodate but she was kind. "I thought the property was great for the value. It was clean, and well prepared. Everything was very well thought out, and brillianty laid out. I misread that there was a children's pool and a beach, but there is a beautiful beach 1km away I would definitely stay here again. Oh and we relived our childhood experiences at Upper Canada Village."
