"Beautiful location, quaint little spot. I would give it 4 1/2 stars but I didn’t get a wink sleep because the mattresses were less comfortable than sleeping on the ground in a tent. It wasn’t even what I would call a mattress. The double bed was actually two twin box springs pushed together. Unbelievable that such a beautiful and quaint hotel wouldn’t spend a little bit of money making sure their guests got a comfortable night sleep"

"Top Lage am See. Wir hatten ein sehr großes Zimmer, Bett sehr bequem. Kaffee / Wasserkocher im Zimmer. Heizung im Bad ging leider auch auf Nachfrage nicht (Außentemperatur 11‘C). Abendessen top! Frühstück komplett britisch/ schottisch, leider kein Käse/Wurst/Schinken. Dafür aber Würstchen, Black Pudding, Baked Beans usw."

"A pretty good spot to spend an evening, but with the price you pay you would expect things to be a higher quality than what you actually receive. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful, and the view from the dining room is gorgeous. The food is pretty good but again the price is higher than the quality, and they have a limited beer selection. The room was out of date but everything worked. We were in a back room where we could smell cigarette smoke anytime anyone went out back. The bed was...

"The view out the front window of the hotel is beautiful. The food was ok.. not amazing. I ordered the risotto and it was terrible. We ended up walking to a nearby restaurant for drinks and their restaurant was booked and had more options. Jay the manager was super friendly and the room was comfortable and the bathrooms newly renovated and clean."

We were greeted with a smile and friendly conversation, plus some great recommendations about our travel in the area. "Invercreran Lodge was a perfect overnight experience in the countryside of the highlands! Rural setting away from the crowds and busy roads. Easy drive to Glencoe or Oban. Staff is amazing and facilities are top rate. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, five star getaway with stunning views and superb hosts! "
