"The property is very dated with very old decor. It was extremely dirty and unkept. We had a power issue, a TV issue and a broken room fan with an extra noisy AC unit. Most of the “resort amenities” were located on another property, requiring transportation. Very disappointed with the overall experience. Will not be returning."

"We stayed at the Sands Ocean Club Resort from 5/9-5/11. Had a late check-in and appreciated the 24/7 staffing at the front desk. Our night was quickly upset by waking up around 4am to bedbugs in room 1601. They bit my partner and left welts on his arm for the weekend, which was not pleasant. The hotel moved us to a different room for the weekend where we had no other issues.
We are waiting to hear if our night with the bedbugs will be comped. The hotel is doing an "internal investigation" and...

"The hotel was nice but a bit outdated. No cable TV in the rooms but they offer DVD rentals in the lobby. Old garbage pails in hallways outside of elevators- these need to be upgraded to nicer receptacles. "
