Top Cook Islands Hotel Reviews

The Edgewater Resort & Spa
8/10 Good
"We enjoyed our stay at the Edgewater. We loved the pool and dining area layout and having ocean views and a beautiful sunset each day. The only thing that let our whole experience down was the food. We were very disappointed with the food every time we ordered and the drinks were expensive too. The rooms were nice for the price we paid so overall we were happy."

Aroa Beachside Resort
8/10 Good
"This resort is in an ideal place with all rooms having an ocean view. The shipwreck hut bar and restaurant on site is a great bonus. The staff on site were excellent. The rooms and some of the site facilities could so with a bit of an upgrade but overall it was an excellent place to stay and the cost was very reasonable. We would definately stay there again in the future."

The Islander Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful stay. Breakfast was the best."

The Rarotongan Beach Resort & Lagoonarium
10/10 Excellent
"We loved our stay at The Rarotongan Beach Resort & Lagoonarium. It truly felt like a real holiday. We loved the fresh towels each day, the range of activities for both adults and children, and the foosball, pool, and ping pong tables. The kids were thoroughly entertained, and everyone got exactly what they wanted from the holiday. The highlight of our stay was the snorkeling tour. A special mention goes to Moi and Joe, who made our trip especially memorable. The service from all the staff was amazing—they were all so friendly and welcoming. Salome and Tema, our cleaners, were wonderful, and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. We would definitely return. The only downside was the smell of cigarette smoke. The designated smoking area was quite close to the other amenities, and at times smoke drifted into our room from a nearby smoker. Aside from that, our stay was fantastic."

Club Raro Resort – Adults Only
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in the Tamure wing of the resort, it’s newly built with great modern amenities. Patio area was garden like and very pleasant. There are other areas of resort accommodation (pool/ocean view) that are tired and dated. As a 3 star venue I reckon you get good value for money and we loved Club Raro overall. We also made use of the laundry which was easy and effective. The staff are so helpful and charming. They do a fantastic job"

The Black Pearl Beach Side Apartments
10/10 Excellent
"The place was really great, comfortable, clean and well looked after. it was a pleasure to stay there. Paul is very friendly and gave many tips on where to eat/snorkel etc. Would definitely recommend this place to others"

Muri Beach Club
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel- located in front of muri lagoon. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds.lovely pool. Beautiful breakfast and lovely lunch and dinner menu. Would definitely come back."

Crown Beach Resort & Spa
6/10 Okay
"Liked the location right on the beach to relax but not for swimming as it’s very rocky. Rooms were tidy n serviced well but bathroom was not well maintained with very old fittings.. water flow in the shower was trickling inspite of them fixing it. Breakfast was exact same every day no change at all. Coconut water was never available. Staff was a mix of being courteous and not too polite. Overall was ok."

Lagoon Breeze Villas
10/10 Excellent
"Very relaxing place to stay. Nicely appointed villas that were well situated for privacy and space in very nice grounds. Rooms were soundproof from neighbouring unit. But was busy and quite noisy outside at times with lots of kids and family groups. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Great snorkelling from the beach across the road, although there is a strong current there - wear flippers! Easy to get around the corner to snorkel outside the Rarotongan. Breakfast was lovely and there were cocktails available late afternoon most days, so that was an unexpected bonus. You’ll need a car or scooter as there are no places for meals within easy walking distance. Would definitely stay here again, as great value for money compared to the bigger resorts."
