"We were there for two nights and enjoyed our stay. The location is beautiful and the hotel is clean and well maintained considering its age. The section we stayed in was like a motel unit but without any kitchen facilities. Unfortunately the restaurant in the hotel was not open on the day we came and a power outage in the area just before we arrived caused the only other restaurant in the area to close. However, the grocery store is modern and well stocked.
Very quiet and wonderful views over the water, although not from our room. There is air conditioning but it is noisy. We were able to manage by turning it on in the evening and turning it off for the night and opening the window. We were able to eat in the hotel restaurant the second night and enjoyed our meal there. The restaurant has a large deck and great views.
The front desk staff is helpful but only available when called. This is a little inconvenient at times."
"The whole feeling was personal. From the moment I walked in Lana greeted me warmly and filled me in on local details. It was the perfect, reasonably priced relatively speaking that is, place to be."
"Beautiful unique hotel with alot of character!
Amazing gardens and property!
Our room was so quaint in the original building!
Beautiful sitting room with a fire place and lovely ocean view!"
"Great location and value. A little dated decor however well taken care of and clean. The space is great with a full kitchen and living room plus separate bedroom."
"We had a lovely stay. Room was spacias and it is centrally located and perfect for exploring. The ferry to Quadra Island is a short walk across the street. The breakfast that is included was really good (especially if you're a lover of bacon). We will definitely stay again!"
"Panoramic view of the ocean & coastal mountains, stunning sunset from the ocean view rooms!
Spacious & clean room!
Coffee and tea available 24:7; would be better if there’s free continental breakfast ( cereal, toast, muffin)!"
"Beautiful place to stay. Incredibly nice staff and very helpful when our plans changed and we needed to stay a couple more nights. Very helpful with giving advice on things to see around the Campbell River area. Will totally stay here again."
