"A lovely house within walking distance mce of the shops, and amenities. Room was clean and warm. Very nice breakfast. Shared bathroom but this wasn't a problem. Didn't need to queue or anything like that. Lovely friendly owner."

"Das Haus und die Zimmer sind liebevoll und geschmackvoll möbliert. Das Haus und alle Räume sind ziemlich neu. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig oberhalb des Hafens gelegen. Die Inhabern ist außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit und bereitet ein sehr gutes Frühstück frisch zu, wozu sogar ein aufwendig geschnittener frischer Fruchtsalat zählt.. Insgesamt habe ich es bedauert, wegen meiner Reisepläne nur eine Nacht dort verbringen zu können und kann die Unterkunft nur zu 100 % weiterempfehlen."

"Such lovely people! The landlady waited for me to arrive. I was given a room upgrade. Clean room, lovely shower with jets to massage my back and for breakfast the bacon stood out.. The fatty bit was perfectly crispy (how I like it) and tgere was even greek yoghurt for my muesli. Definitely will recommend !"

"Graemeshall House is an old manor house. Truly unique. It was the perfect spot for our visit to Orkney. John, the innkeeper was very hospitable , breakfasts were delicious. Our suite was charming. I would stay there again"

The dinner we ordered was excellent and to order the best meal we had on our trip so far. Everything was locally sourced and made by Kayce herself. She was literally just a text message away. Jane and Richard were excellent hosts, welcoming us warmly, sharing helpful suggestions, and providing a wonderful breakfast with homemade bread. This was a great stay and highly recommend! "
