"We loved our time at Cago Guest House. My husband and I stayed for two nights and wish we stayed longer. Taketomi is a beautiful, quiet island and Cago is the perfect place to stay and enjoy it. The owners, a husband and wife, are lovely. We opted for the dinner both nights (breakfast was included) and all the food was fantastic. Highly recommend this place!"

"Excellent place for those who want to get away from the busy city's. The house was clean tidy and the host is very friendly. The only downside (and it's only slight) is the local bus is only 4 times a day and the more frequent buses are 15-20 min walk away."

"I had a great 3 night stay at the property, very close to the beach and beautiful place to view the sunset. My only complaint would be the bed was quite hard even for traditional Japanese beds. Other than that it was great and I would go again!"

"As a hostel located at the mountain remote from the city, I think this hostel would provide everything I need if I want to be closer to the nature. Wifi connection was weak. Cooking was not allowed even though a small kitchen was given. The toilet and shower rooms were still nice. The sleeping area was also nice. Parking area was provided, but it's not on a flat place. "I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Iriomote. There's lots of space on the property, including a massive bathroom and a huge terrace, with a sea view where you can see the stars at night. There's also lots of wildlife that can be easily seen from many areas on the property, for example frogs and coconut crabs.
