"When booked it says take blanket&pillow case?no need bedding is included.. Shared bathroom clean&tidy. After 10.30 gets really loud with jukebox,on a main road..if you a light sleeper this is no good.but i enjoyed my stay it was for one night..breakfast was excellent! Cereals toast and a full English was excellent for my journey I would definitely stay again if was down that end..very impressive. "

"Staff were lovely but the property needs a lot of TLC. The bathroom is tiny but well equipped. Good location for st Michael's Mount but not much else nearby. Bonus was, they offered breakfast included but we weren't hungry enough for a full English breakfast 😟"

"The property is tired. Some of the staff worked hard. Some were obviously inexperienced. But the big problem was there were not enough capable staff. Long waiting times for food. Ordering systems that failed. Simple things like getting your own coffee at breakfast did not work. Altogether a lack of energy and commitment to getting things right was missing. No obvious management. Fabulous views, great weather. Frustrating hotel. We stayed one night. Could not imagine staying longer. What a lost...

"We recently stayed at Penventon Park Hotel while visiting family in Redruth. Although we found parts of Redruth itself to be quite a deprived town, the hotel provided a very pleasant and relaxing stay on the edge of town with great parking available. "The rooms in the pub are underwhelming, noisy, need maintenance (our bathroom had the light and loo roll holder hanging off the wall) and expensive for what you get. Food at the pub is also not great. The staff were friendly and the music good. Probably wouldn’t chose here again or would go in a garden pod."

"We were staying as a family of four adults. The location was in a quiet area overlooking the sea in the distance. The accommodation was very specious, clean and well equipped. One bedroom had a small en suite shower and toilet. There was also a bath with overhead shower and toilet in a separate room. We used the apartment as a base, exploring the nearby beaches and villages. The owner had thought of everything to make guests feel comfortable. "Very clean rooms and friendly hosts. It was quite cool in the evenings with heating only on in the mornings and there was no communal lounge area to sit in so we felt we were confined to our bedroom. "

"The hosts were lovely. Clean, safe, comfortable, good common area includes fridge, glasses, plates & cutlery. Delicious breakfasts with a view of the colourful boat harbour. The pub in Mousehole (5 min walk) was good. Parking is a short distance away but make sure you have cell / text service to use the parking app in case the only machine in the lot isn't working as the next lot is 2 miles away! Would stay here again!!!"

"Such a wonderful property, and the rooms are so very clean and comfortable. We slept so well, and were treated quite nicely. Kate is such a lovely host, and her brekkie is top-notch. We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. Thank you much for such a great stay!"

"The hotel / inn is very old. I booked this inn because of beautiful picture uploaded in Expedia for sea view. But turn out I made a really bad decision. The sea view on spot is fair only but most importantly, the property is very old. I guess the room decoration has been used for 20 to 30 years with very min. level of maintainance. Just going inside the toilet, I see hair in the sink. Some rubbish is not yet collected. A chair seat has left over of chips. There is no hand held splinker...

"Absolutely beautiful family set of rooms, stunning view of St Michael’s Mount, w causeway right outside. Unfortunately, windows covered w scaffolding and workmen starting on our 2nd day, making bathroom without curtains unusable. Reception unhelpful (blamed property company) until the last day of our complaining when they offered a small discount on our stay (but still didn’t cover window). Although we received notice a week or two before our stay that this was happening, that doesn’t really ...

"Have stayed here for a long weekend every year since 2022 in a deluxe sea view room, buffet breakfast is lovely too with lots of choices, please note breakfast is £18 pp extra, beautiful spot with amazing views over St Ives but you may need a taxi back up to the hotel from town as it’s a killer hill 😳"
