St Nicholas Hotel
The hotel itself (hallways) is a bit like a travelodge but the room we stayed in, 911, was really clean and the bed was really comfy. It was quite warm though so not sure what it would be like in summer.

B&B HOTEL Ipswich
As our first time being in the area, we chose BB Ipswitch Hotel as it was close to the train station, and we were very happy with our three night stay there. Lovely 1-bed Cottage in Mendlesham Green
Lovely accommodation, really well presented inside and out, with everything you would want for a short break. The owners are very friendly and helpful and would definitely recommend a stay.
