"We stayed for one night so we didn't use the pool but it looked very nice. We had a beachfront room and the view was fabulous!! The room was spacious enough. The room amenities were a little sparse with only three cups and a very tiny bar of soap for both of us to share. Having said that it doesn't change our opinion about the room or hotel. The turtles and parrot were very cool. The restaurant was fine. Food was good. The included breakfast was fresh and plentiful. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a unique property that is close to downtown Key West."

"Even though the airport shuts down at night, we were not informed of how close we were to the airport. Understand that this is not a standard hotel. So cleaning etc. will not be imposed on you everyday. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. It’s still a very nice property. Pool, bar activities are all located next to each other.Staff was friendly. Not beach property if that’s important to you, but just 3 minutes away is a nice beach. Two very nice restaurants are walking distance from the residence.Plenty of birds and lizards to keep you company ."

"Arrived at 2am to an empty lobby that remained empty until 3am besides the other guests waiting to check in. I had called at 4pm to inform them of our late arrival, they assured me someone would be there 24/7. When this guy finally shows up he blames it on the front desk person and he has no idea where they are and he was off work at 10pm. But hung around until 2am.. Finally get up into our room and we get put into the wrong one. We are exhausted and head to bed. The next evening we are in our room after being out for the day and someone with a key card ENTERS our room!! We think it’s cleaning people, Nope! It is another set of guest! They go down to the lobby and the same guy that checked us in the night prior comes back up and is like uhh sorry I don’t know what happened with the reservations. We head into the lobby and walked up to the desk and (different guy at the desk, guy from earlier is hiding) Hi! Just want to make sure nobody is going to just walk right into our room again! He was like i’m sorry about that, you guys leave Sunday right? We leave Tuesday. We got issued new keys. What kind of security measures does this place have. All the cameras everywhere, are they even on. How hard is it to pull up a reservation and match them to the right room. Maybe keep your 24/7 lobby actually attended 24/7.. Maybe a little bathroom break, but people waiting for an hour after traveling all day cmon. Also called around 11/11:30pm the day we were coming and was rudely hung up on."

"My Mother’s Family lived here during WWll so its was a bucket list hotel for me. Its Worth Staying Here…. been going for a few years now and its very awesome especially with multiple weddings going on, you can swim in ocean, and drive your golf cart to shop and. dine on Duval etc, how can you go wrong ? it’s the place to be in awesome Key West, it still has the beauty of the past, sadly none of the flavor or the prices, but now it’s safe for you to bring your kids."
