"This is a great stay in Modesto. I come to town about every 6-8 weeks for work and always stay here. This time I looked at a Marriott property (I have status with Marriott) and was not at all impressed due to homelessness and watching a woman go through all their garbages and hopping the fence to someone patio. We quickly reserved a spot at Sparks and are so glad! The area is safe, the hotel is clean and the staff are so amazing! I will never ever try to cheat on them again. The beds are amazingly comfortable, the location is clean (and safe!) and a fraction of the cost of the big chains that are not as welcoming. ❤️"
