"The hotel, overall, is average... Not special. The door to out room was literally splitting in half and we had to jerk it open and slam it to close it. The room had an overwhelming stink of the cleaner branded "Fabuloso" (overly perfumed and nauseating). They should discontinue this. The breakfast buffet was quite poor. Waffles were good. Milk was sour, like rotten. Hard boiled eggs tasted off, too. Sausage was horrible. There were muffins, toast and cold cereals we did not try. Pool area was ok and pool was cold."

"Was sore from walking the hot tub felt great. Spent time in the pool and the lounge chairs were good for sunning. Nice quiet private beach area to enjoy the ocean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The reasons why we returned to this hotel. "

"TIKI BAR ON THE BEACH WAS NICE TO ENJOY A NICE SUNSET. SERVICE WAS GOOD. BEACH VIEW WAS OK, SIDE VIEW OF THE GULF FROM OUR ROOM. ROOM WAS AVERAGE, NOTHING SPECIAL. GOT LOCKED OUT IN OUR BALCONY, HAD TO CALL THE FRONT DESK FOR MAINTENACE TO COME AND OPEN THE SLIDING DOOR. THE FRAME ON THE DOOR WAS BENT AND THAT IS WHY WE COULD NOT OPEN IT."

"Good location, missing a few amenities such as better spa that would typically include sauna and steam room, a bar that is open past 11:00 p.m. a little better convenience store, overall most people would probably say this property is great."

"This was the first time that a room exceeded my expectations. The 2 bedroom with the huge balcony was amazing and we were very comfortable with 4 adults and 1 child. I travel approximately ten times a year and this was by far my best hotel experience. Thank you! When I come back I am definitely staying here again. "

"Where do I start……I booked a suite & also a separate room for family. I specifically requested the extra room to be 2 queens. When we got to the hotel at 4:30, the extra room had been changed to just a king and wasn’t even ready. That started the experience on the wrong foot. We had to wait for the 2nd room to be ready & had to keep insisting that we wanted 2 queens. After finally getting to our rooms, we all decided to head to the downstairs bar to meet for cocktails & appetizers. Several people requested Pina Coladas & were told that the bar could not make them because their blender was broken & had been for a while. The food was less than appetizing that we ordered & ended up not eating it. Every time we ran the water or flushed the toilet in our suite, the plumbing banged so loud in the wall that it was ridiculous! The next day, housekeeping didn’t even have our room cleaned & it was 4:30 in the afternoon. We had to complain & when they finally sent someone up to the room, it was done half-a#$(*with no extra towels that we requested. Horrible experience. They don’t even have a coffee shop in the hotel. The best part of the whole trip was the valet staff & bellhops! They were awesome! Don’t waste your time on this “Grand Hyatt”. A total disappointment. We’ll find somewhere else to stay from now on. Horrible experience."
