"A very warm welcome on arrival, with a clear explanation given of things that we needed to know. Help offered with bags and an escort given to our more than pleasant booked room (Cathedral View). Facilities in room all that one might require, and with a comfortable bed. Very tasty breakfast options available from 07:30 am with a range of beverages. An easy check out procedure on departure. "This was a one night stay on our way to Edinburgh with our dogs. It was exactly what we needed a comfortable, clean and well equipped room right next to a lovely pub that is also dog friendly. Sonia and the team couldn't do enough for us, fetching water for our dogs after a long journey. Asking if we had everything we needed. We had a good meal that night and a lovely breakfast the following morning. Such a friendly place, we will definitely be back!"
