The staff at Kamaole Sands were great. While we enjoyed our stay at Kamaole sands, comparing this condo to others that we have stayed in at Kamaole Sands, I would probably choose a different condo for our next visit. When we arrived, there was a very strong smell in the condo that didn’t seem to go away during our stay. All of the dishes needed to be washed as about 90% of them were dirty. There is not a big selection of cutlery and the cutlery is horrible to use, especially the forks, which are very tiny. The oven is on a slant so it was hard to cook on the stove top, as it was on a slant. There is a small selection of beach items, which is always a bonus, but things are not in very good condition, except for the beach umbrella. The lanai is huge, which is nice, but the one lounge chair was broken (missing a leg) and it can be quite noisy as it is on the road side. Overall, we enjoyed our stay as we love Maui and are not in the condo much, except to eat and sleep. We love Kamaole Sands, but like previously mentioned, we would choose a different condo for our next stay.

We had a wonderful stay here as a family of five everybody slept comfortably and everything was here for us. The owners thought of everything you might possibly need. I do wish the Wi-Fi password would have been more accessible. But we had a wonderful stay.

your out of the sun ,traffic noise is passable, good blow through ventilation, there doing work on site so sometime can be noisy ,but hey your short walk to kam 3 beach, Mexican restaurant is close short walk as is other venues unit is on 2nd floor which adds to private-see.Mahalo

“Do-again” property

Well appointed unit. Generous hosts provided starter food stables like S&P, condiments etc. Lots of clean linens, beach towels, coolers, boogie boards, chairs, umbrella, snorkels and fins, etc. Cleaning staff had left little welcoming touches to please and welcome us. Great location across from Kamaleole Beaches. 5 min walk to boat ramp for Molokini snorkeling trips. Mahalo for hosting us so graciously.

Wee booked at Kamaole Sands because we love it. On the day of check in I got an email saying they had moved us to another complex called Kihei Akahi. The unit had filthy rugs in the living room, no hot tub, glassware and plates that looked like they were from a garage sale not nearly the quality of Kamaole Sands. They said it was because the unit had been sold! What/ that morning???

We stayed at Kamaole Sands for our honey moon in 2013 and it was lovely. This unfortunately was the exact opposite. When we checked in we were surprised to see that a lot of amenities in the room were not working properly. The living room AC smelled of plastic when it was run. The ceiling fan wobbled so much that it seemed like it was going to fall off. The guest bathrooms shower was unavailable. All of which, we could live with…especially since there was a room with working ac and another usable bathroom. However, the icing on the cake was when we were getting ready for bed and uncovered the sheets to find dried up blood all over the sheets. This was unacceptable. To make matters even worse, orbitz and the Maui rental group didn’t nothing to resolve this issue. I gave both of you my entire trip to make this right and nothing was done. I’ll be posting negative reviews on yelp, google, every social media page, as well as contacting the BBB. I’ll make sure that everyone is aware of the giant bait and switch we received on our 11 year anniversary.

We had an amazing visit to Maui. Our condo was very clean and organized. It had everything we needed and is in a great spot.

One star only because “unknown” is not an option. I can’t say much about the property because, even though I paid for it, we never got to stay there! When we arrived, we followed the check-in instructions and used the security code we were given to let ourselves in the unit, only to be surprised that it was already occupied! We later learned the property management company had changed our reservation to a different property without our knowledge or consent, or even a reason why. They told us the other property (the one they assigned to us) was all that was available, and also that their office was about to close for the day.

We had to pay resort fees that I was not aware of and the hot tub wasn’t even working. There are no lights on the tennis/pickleball court so you couldn’t play past dusk. Communication was awful. They said they sent a rental agreement but never did! I called to ask a different question and was told I never signed it! The location was good though and very quiet.

This property is in a great walkable location to the ocean. Very clean and pretty. We had here very good time. Love this place and will be happy to return back. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

Condo has two bathrooms. We were notified shortly before our stay that one was out of order. It remained out of order the entire trip, which made for some mild inconveniences. But the condo was beautiful. The ocean view was great. And the condo has convenient easy parking.
