It's oddly quiet and the entire Hotel, and the rooms are not very soundproof and you can hear all the other guests quite easily. Both above and below you as well as beside you. 25 years ago or so. "The Blue Haven is right in the heart of Kinsale and within walking distance to many pubs and restaurants. Room was clean and well appointed. Good water pressure in the shower. The one downside was being right on the street as it was very noisy until late at night. We ate there for breakfast and it was excellent. We also had dinner one night which was phenomenal. The other downside is parking as you’ll have to first find a spot in either the car park down the street or one of the few spots...

"We had a great experience, but guests need to be warned that the property is three stories and there is no elevator so if you are bringing heavy luggage up to the third floor plan for it. If you have mobility issues request a lower floor."
