The walls in particular were yellow and marked, including hand prints on the walls and mould on the curtains (pictured attached). "Very pretty property, with a great view. A little distance from the city center, but they run a most friendly and flexible shuttle into town that works great, very good idea and a very commendable effort. Breakfast is good. We had a large room (2 adults 2 kids) very spacious. Some aspects of maintenance could be improved, but it is always a challenge with these country homes, they have the charm, but not everything is impecable. A little on the expensive side, but reasonable. Great parking."

"Beautiful historic mansion. We walked thru nearby parks to the riverfront for lunch. The outdoor restaurant at Orange Grove was very pleasant for an evening dinner and happy hour. The admiral lounge is very comfortable while waiting for pickup to go to the airport or cruise ships."

"This was a lovely place that I would go to again and again. The hotel itself was stunning, the staff were very helpful and thoughtful, and the food was fantastic. The only concern is the stairs are uneven, so just be careful if you’re unsteady. Other than that, delightful experience."
