"Late one evening while traveling across Route 80 during a heavy rain storm, I reserved a room at the hotel because it had a 9 star rating. When I arrived, I had to drive to an ugly back lot that was not well marked. Strike 1. When I checked in, I was informed the first floor was under construction and construction would resume at 8:30 am. When I looked to my left, I saw a plastic drop cloth separating the lobby/breakfast area from the construction. I immediately understood why I smelled so much construction dust. When I parked my car, i had trouble finding a safe spot because the lot was filled with many large construction storage containers and other construction equipment and supplies. Had the hotel listing properly noted it was under construction, I would have chosen one of the other highly rated, nearby hotels. Strike two. Since I was too tired to go somewhere else, I went to my room to discover new furniture whose front veneer was missing large pieces. In the morning, I went to breakfast in the lobby and did not enjoy the construction smells. Strike three. I was so unimpressed and disgusted that I left immediatley. The hotel did not live up to the Hampton name and was nothing like the other Hampton hotels in which I have stayed."

"The rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable water pressure in the shower was great coffee pot refrigerator worked fine. The man at the desk when we checked in was awesome very helpful in finding us a restaurant since the one we were planning on going to was closed. Very inexpensive for what you get. We’ll definitely stay there again."

"Property was questionable. Checked in and already didnt feel right. Got our "suite" that's was a joke. In one room Tv was broke with smashed remote. Second TV cable connector was broke. "Rooms" were nasty. Went to tell front desk staff My daughter & me want a different room. I sent my daughter to car and thank god! Front desk.staff was fighting with a guest. Then proceeded to cuse at him which upsets guest then it proceeded to turn physical. I ran out immediately and left with my daughter. DONT STAY HERE! "

"I reserved this room because of the pool and that it had breakfast included. The woman that checked us in was great. The pool was broken and the breakfast was worse than a gas stations. However the room was clean and quiet."

"The good: pleasant staff at checkin. The price was inexpensive. The bad: the exterior walkways and parking are not clean. There was litter in the hallways for the duration of our stay. The rooms look nothing like they are pictured online. The carpeted hallways were worn through. When we checked into our room, the smell of bleach and cigarettes was overwhelming. We opened the window for an hour to vent the smell. We left and came back a few hours later and it just smelled like cigarettes. After staying there for 2 days, all of our belongings smelled like cigarettes. The paint in the room was old and stained. All sorts of liquids have been splattered on the walls and never cleaned. The bathroom tile and grout is old and moldy. The toilet bowl had permanent stains. There was a hole in the wall. The smoke detector was disconnected. The pillows were 1/3 full of filling. We found 3 roaches during the stay. There are no amenities of any kind. You get a bed, four walls, bathroom, towels and soap. No other toiletries, no coffee, no hairdryer (not even at the front desk.) But besides all of that, we hated it."
