A great stay. Room was lovely and spacious. Great view. Breakfast was delicious. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Rooftop has free snacks and drinks with a fire pit. Had such a lovely time

Loved the location of being nearer the old side of Kyoto. Spacious lobby was lovely along with rooftop bar. Balance between sympathetic design and modern luxury. Breakfast was excellent and very varied to others we had in Japan. Room was good and a generous size. Ground floor didn’t have much light but that was okay as we were out all day. This is the second time I’ve stayed at The Royal Park Hotel, first time was about 10 years ago. The location was so convenient to the indoor market, 7 Eleven, Family mart and restaurants literally around the corner, Subway was a short walk away. Staff on reception were friendly and helpful. I had forgotten my wallet in the safe when I checked out and the hotel kindly emailed me to inform me, which I’m utterly grateful for their kindness and looking after my wallet 😊 I would highly recommend...

Clean hotel in a great location.

Check in & out was so quick & easy, especially checking out - you just put your key card into a machine & you’re done. The hotel is in a great area as indicated by the ‘What did you like?’ section above. The rooms were always cleaned & restocked with bottled water, towels, etc.

Lovely place, very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed the little treats throughout the day, and the amenities was great.

The hotel is fairly new. It is centrally located within the district we stayed in about 4 km from Kyoto Station. The hotel staff were very helpful when we had to change our travel plans due to the cyclone that hit Tokyo and managed to find us alternative rooms in the hotel. Excellent service.

Nice sized room across the road from Nijo station. Self check in and check out was very smooth and there was always someone at the reception to help. One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in whilst being in Japan. Loved the pyjamas!

-Reception staff were a bit aloof. -Staff in the restaurant where breakfast was served, were very friendly and helpful. - Guest lounge is spacious and relaxing, you can help yourself with a drink (hot or cold) while planning for your day. - Room is very clean - Location is perfect, it’s just opposite to the station with many amenities nearby - Breakfast is not to be missed - Will stay in this hotel again

This hotel was ideally located in Kyoto right next to the subway station and only one stop from Kyoto station. We had a king bed room which was very spacious with plenty of room. Would recommend staying here if you are planning on visiting Kyoto couldn’t recommend this hotel more.

Stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and enjoyed it very much. It has a very good location in Kyoto, the staff are friendly, and breakfast buffet delicious!
