"Overall, we were very pleased with our two night stay. The lobby was bright and cheerful, and staff were very welcoming. Our room was clean and had the basic amenities. Our only complaints would be that during our stay there were several moderately sized tree branches that had been put into a pile and just left on the property for our entire three day two night visit. It just detracted from the overall curb appeal. In addition, while signage states that food is available until 10 PM, we found this to not be the case. We were offered only fried food or a premade salad as an option at 9 PM. If it couldn’t go in a deep fryer, they couldn’t make it. In addition, the bar staff could definitely use some training with mixed drink making. On our last morning, Sunday, the hostess running the breakfast area was significantly more interested in scrolling on her phone and watching the bar television, then assisting us with basic needs such as napkins, ketchup, eating, utensils, etc. We even had to ask her for our bill. Other than these little bumps, we very much enjoyed our stay, were pleased with the accommodations, and happy with most of the staff."
