We travelled to Kirkland Lake to go snowmobiling and stayed at the Ramada Inn by Wyndham. It was close to the trails. You did have to ride the sidewalk to get there. The rooms were clean. The staff was super friendly. Every morning we had eggs, bacon, or breakfast sausage, hashbrowns, and toast. The coffee was delicious and you could also have orange juice or apple juice.
Parking lot not cleared of snow but luckily found a spot. Was difficult to manage baggage and pet carrier. Front entry steps uneven, could use a handrail. Bed very comfortable and breakfast very nice including proper boiled kettle for tea! Very pleasant staff
Very clean...
Staff very accommodating.
Great breakfast.
Our rooms bathtub did not hood water so they moved us to a room across the way.
Brand new, still working out the bugs.

Definitely some glitches to sort out but once error was corrected, all was well. The doors are a little heavy and narrow and the bed is firm. Surprisingly quiet.

Very dated hotel. Hardly any electrical outlets. Hot water was barely hot enough.
Friendly staff however.
The two double bed room with kitchenette was very nicely laid out and the shower was good but you could see through the floor vent to the ground floor and i woke up to the sound of someone coughing in our room, but they weren’t in our room. Someone kept trying to unlock our door at 8am the first morning for about 5 mins which woke everyone up after a long drive the previous night, and the sound of all the door locks beeping came right into the room every time someone opened their door along the corridor … not much sleep here. You could hear people walking above. The front step was treacherous and there wasn’t any way to bring a luggage cart out to the car. The parking area entrance was wonky and sometimes blocked by cars on the street. Other than that it’s right in town and had an ok breakfast bar. The tv was placed on one side of the room instead of in the middle.
Friendly staff, good parking and overall good value.

We stayed in a suite which was roomy and quite adequate. It would have been nicer if it has a few comfy sitting chairs.
My only complaint was getting into the building. I use a walker and the front entrance ( in-fact the only client entrance) had 2 tall steps off a sloping side walk and no handrail. The hotel doors were too narrow for my walker unless I collapsed its size. In side, the lobby, elevator, and rooms were quite accessible.
The free breakfast food was the typical crap all the chains serve to the masses who have no taste.
So as a short stay or stop over, it is a cheap alternative to the other chain hotels in Kirkland Lake.

the property was pretty new so everything was clean and modern. Staff were great helping me solve technical difficulties. The reason I was not too happy was with the front entrance. My mother walks with a walker and/or cane. There were two high cement front steps that she had to climb. There was no railing to hold onto. The sidewalk dipped down right in front of the steps so made the first step even higher. There was no ramp area. Also the front door was very heavy. There was no way she could have held it open while trying to get in with her walker. There was no automatic handicapped button to push. This property is not accessible for handicapped individuals.
Booked a suite. Had a super weird layout. If you want to lay on the bed and watch TV don’t book a suite. Exterior window sills were covered in bird poop. Not just a little. They were coated in it.

The bath tub was extremely slippery and I fell on my shoulder and tore something. I now can't drive for a bit because I don't have a full range of motion and I am in a lot of pain. We mentioned this to 2 different staff members when there and we weren't impressed with their lack of response.
