"Room was clean & with lovely furnishings. Staff were excellent, friendly & helpful. Good choice for breakfast, eggs royale was lovely. Our dogs were welcomed & catered for. Some lovely sitting areas with comfy seats. A lovely place to stay with good amenities. Recommended."

"This is a lovely hotel the only thing that let it down was the evening meal . Every night choices on the menu weren’t available. We stayed 5 nights and the evening meals were disappointing. We asked to speak to the chef and were told that all the meals came in frozen except the steak and didn’t resemble a rump steak it was shaped like a jenga brick and grossly we were offer gravy which we had to pay extra for and it only came with a few chips and rocket with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. "Had a brilliant time at Rockliffe Hall. The spa was really relaxing and well worth it. The spa treatment itself was spot on, and the views around the place are lovely. The Staff were great: polite, helpful, and made everything easy. They left a few things out for our birthday celebration, which made the day feel special. Tip: on your last morning, try to squeeze in one last 1/2 hour the spa to set you up for the day."
