"We had a lovely stay and the staff were great. In the off season (early June) things seemed a bit sparse for our family time. We had hoped the “two playrooms” and outdoor activities advertised would be full of options for a getaway, but they were drab and had just a few options functional and required a small cost. "Great location, a few minutes walk from town. Beautifully decorated and helpful staff who made sure we had breakfast items in our room bc we had to leave at 5:55am. The sit down breakfast was huge with a starter of meats, cheeses, croissants that my wife said were like being in France, ‘to die for’ then eggs Benedict or any style you like. Comfortable beds with heated blanket."

"Lovely spot just a few minutes drive from Franschoek. Our bedroom was large and well-furnished. The gardens and adjacent vineyard in the shadow of the mountains was lovely. Staff were welcoming and breakfast was good. "
