"The Auberge Hotel is a very nice hotel with comfortable beds, fantastic views of the mountains, the bay and on a clear day you can see all the way to central city. I however found the front desk unhelpful and unprepared at times. From check in, room change to checkout. I am familiar with Discovery Bay but at points had questions about transportation and it was met with subpar information. I had questions about dining and there was no clear answer on I my simple question on breakfast times....

"Great place to stay! I had a long layover and chose this hotel for one night, however I would’ve stayed longer if I could. It has a great view of the ocean, beautiful surrounding landscape, and close by shops and restaurants. No problem getting a taxi to and from the airport."

"The hotel was in a convenient location, but the room was the size of a shoe box. There was no sq feet when booking the room and that was clearly why, you couldn’t even sit on the toilet without your knees hitting the tub! But the AC worked amazing which was needed in the heat! And check in and checkout was so easy and quick, we left early in the morning and they have a key slot you don’t even have to talk to anyone!"

The front desk staff are friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The airport shuttle service is convenient and reliable, making travel much easier. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Every stay has been a pleasant experience, which is why I keep coming back. Highly recommended!"

"You get what you pay for. Perfect prize for a layover/overnight from airport. Wonderful location: food, bars, transportation. Small rooms and bathrooms. For a longer stays choose a bigger room or other more expensive hotels in the area."

"I stayed simply because I had a 13 hour layover. With the instructions, the place is not hard to find. The host was very very helpful, even when I was late for my check-in. He carefully explained to me how to use the amenities and even how to take the bus back in the early morning for the airport. He’s very knowledgeable on local transportation. I would definitely stay here again. One thing, though, I was only travelling with a backpack, so it wasn’t too difficult to walk through the forest...
