Well, it’s started with “pool under renovation”, thereby the were no explicit mentioning about this on the website, all what you can read is “seasonal pool”, but there are no dates mentioned, so the fair assumption is it’s open. The were no spa open neither also due the renovation again without any previous notice. And this was the only reason I booked this hotel to relax for a weekend after the hard business week. If I could move I would do it but guess what it was not refundable. In my view, it’s a pure cheating. The hotel is very outdated and in the bad condition (although the room itself is just ok), also far away from everything, so that if you paying for a taxi to go for a qualitative spa and sightseeings you pay the same price as for hotel itself. On top it was a deposit taken of HKD 500 (not huge but still), which the hotel could not return upon the check out and mentioned it will be credited in ca. 4 weeks (without any interest 😊, I assume). Finally, the first thing I heard at 1.00 am by check in was “if you loose your key card we will charge you and if check out later than 11.00 am we will charge you”. But for the missing pool and spa just “oh… sorry for that “. Not even a compensation offered. Ridicules experience - never ever.
