"Very pretty hotel"

"We didn't like the presence of a disinfectant odor in the room. We had to change rooms due to the chemical burning our eyes in the first room. The second room also had the same burning sensation except in lower concentration. The air conditioner made a noise, and it was very close to the bed. We couldn't turn the fan off. It was a very long night, and morning couldn't come soon enough. We had to return home for rest. The breakfast was ok."

"Our TV did not work in our room the whole weekend we were there. We reported it on Friday night when we checked in and it was supposed to have been fixed on Saturday but they never did anything about it. On Sunday all they said was sorry. The bathroom door was so heavy I could barely slide it and got stuck in the bathroom. I had to be helped by a family member out of the bathroom"

"We enjoyed our stay. We had some sugar ants, but that was the worst of it. The room was clean and it felt clean when we checked in. We would go back and stay here again if we come back to Houston."

The bartender deserves a special shoutout—he was friendly, welcoming, and truly made our stay so much more enjoyable. He was definitely the highlight of our trip! Unfortunately, the customer service from the front desk staff left a lot to be desired. During our 3-day stay, we were unable to get fresh towels,...
