The rooms are lovely and comfortable, but the carpeting—both inside the rooms and throughout the hallways—feels a bit worn and could use refreshing. The service, however, is consistently excellent, with staff who are warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. One thing I did notice was that the pool area floor tended to be a bit dirty each day, which took away from the otherwise great amenities. The in room dining is great as well. In short:...

"We enjoyed our stay at Brentwood in terms of the accommodation. The restaurant was closed and ‘The Pub’ was average at best. Our tiramisu was fridge freezer cold and had hidden parchment paper underneath.. we were not offered a refund and it put a sour taste on our eating experience. The location of the resort is great with plenty of parking and we walked to Butchart gardens."

"This was the perfect hotel for us. The services were very good. The AC worked very well, both in temperature control and speed. The previous hotel had a one speed fan, high and very noisy. So this was a huge relief. The comfort made up for the aging of the carpet and furniture. No biggy for me."

"My mom and I had a 3 night stay at the Day's Inn and it was great. The grounds are well kept and ALL of the staff that we interacted with were great. So helpful and polite. We had a minor issue on the 1st night of the bathroom fan leaking a decent amount after a shower. Staff were incredibly helpful and assisted in us changing rooms. "We stayed in a room outside of the house. We did not get to experience the beauty on the inside other than eating a very good breakfast in the front room. Our room was muggy and not very nice. Would we stay here again… probably not. Beautiful home, would have a better experience if we stayed inside the home."
