"What a special bed and breakfast! Vania and Peter have carefully put thought in all aspects of their space. The room was spacious, modern, and cosy, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. The breakfast in the morning felt like it was made with love. Shout out to Peter for making a last minute dinner reservation for us outside of town! We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back! "

"Absolutely loved our stay in this charming, well-appointed B&B in a fabulous location. The owner, Nikki, was an excellent communicator and went out of her way to accommodate us. Excellent service and suggestions. The room was beautiful, with every detail thought out. The place is on a busy street, however we were not bothered by noise (altho earplugs were provided, we did not need them). It was comfortable and spacious, with a gorgeous, large bathroom. "My family rented 3 rooms in this guest house and it was great. We were able to walk everywhere from it. But, it was nice to hang out in. We had drinks on the terrace, sat in the dinning room at a window that opened onto the canal, and had nightcaps in the library. The woman who was running it was friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying here if you are going to Brugge. "

"A very warm welcome from the host, Cynthia. A beautifully renovated 17th century building in a central location. Easily reachable on foot from the train station and close to Brugge’s main attractions. A lovely bedroom with a great shower and a self service breakfast buffet was quite adequate and tasty.     When I posted a first photo of the beguinage 2 weeks ago, there were hardly any flowers. Now, in the 2nd week of March, the ground is covered with a sea of daffodils. The 'Princely Beguinage Ten Wijngaarde' with its white-coloured house fronts and tranquil convent garden was founded in 1245. This little piece of world heritage was once the home of the beguines, emancipated lay-women who nevertheless led a pious and celibate life.
