"No a/c in the hallways on the 5th floor nor in the elevators in 95 degree weather. The breakfast was not good, not much variety. I did not expect 4 star but we have stayed at many other Holiday INN Express` and were very satisfied with everything. The staff was friendly and helpful. In the evening it was very difficult to find parking spaces. Several people drove trucks with trailers taking up 2 to 2.5 spaces and one special person took up 2 spaces with a small suv, just a PIG! "The Holiday Inn in Ruckersville is farther outside of Charlottesville than I would normally stay when visiting that city, but was necessary due to a concert causing all the rooms closer in to be booked. It was convenient to the main route into the city on 29, provided a very clean room and acceptable breakfast. The pool was outdoor and so not yet open at the time I visited."

"Just ok. Upon arrival we discovered fingernail clippings on the bathroom sink, dust & hair inside the dresser, mold in the bathroom, couch was falling apart, had a strange odor. House keeping didn’t come at all during our stay, even after I requested a clean. The maintenance man knocked on the door and then automatically entered while we were inside the room- which is a safety concern especially when traveling solo with two kid, the dishes in the cabinet had food stuck on them, a pregnancy test...

"The location to campus is flawless great dining options very close by. My only complaints was the shower pan and interior of the tub was very old dirty and needed updating. The interior was fun and fitting to the location. There’s just no excuse for an outdated shower pan in a hotel bathroom."

"I will mention that the sink faucet in the bathroom was challenging to use, which surprised us because the bathtub faucet worked great. The gentleman who checked us in @ 8PM was lovely. I asked about linking this stay to our Bonvoy account and he was able to help us with that."
