"Overall the stay was excellent the hosts were amazing and flexible suggesting places to eat for dinner nearby. The breakfast was delicious. The room was to a high standard and the bathroom was clean with a great shower. Only two reasons it didn’t get a 5 star. The road into the hotel is a dirt track and we had heavy rain and the potholes or rather gorges were filled with water and impossible to see how deep. "Our stay was great. The only disappointment was the shower. It wasn't very powerful and the temperature was unreliable. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The continental breakfast was very good so it wasn't necessary to order additional cooked items. "

"We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....

"Location was ideal for me as i needed to stay near family. Although there is nothing near by apart from Starbucks, Costa, KFC 10 mins away. The rooms were ok, bedding was clean Although underneath the beds was not. I found not nice things in there, like chewing gum, cigarette papers, French fries. I only used the rooms to sleep and shower. The main issue for me was the window latches were missing or very loose and i did not feel safe while sleeping. The windows are not double glazed. "Stayed here for 3 nights over bank holiday. The place is so nice. Lovely staff. Very attentive there is a bar, cocktail bar, restaurant, rooms all greatly decorated. Food very great. Would definitely stay here again"

"Room was very clean and warm, lovely comfy bed and the lady I met on arrival and leaving was very helpful , even gave me some extra biscuits as I left because the weather was very cold and unpleasant "

"Room I was given was visible tired but when looking closer it was clear that the cleaning was not completed to a standard I would expect. Walls were full of holes and wall plugs, bathroom accessories were broken and to top it off no hot water in the morning. Personally I will not be staying here again."

"The only problem was that my wife and I are in our Seventies year young, and during the cold spell early March, the room heater did not come on until 18.00pm. We were cold . We did not complain to reception because we know that the heating was timed set to come on."
