"I absolutely love The Lake Hotel. My daughter lives in Skibbereen, Ireland and this was my first visit to Killarney. She highly recommended it and I am so glad she did. "We booked two rooms for our family and our stay coincided with the heat wave. One was interior but had a/c and was quiet at night. The other was an upgraded suite but it did not have a/c so the only option for air flow was to keep the balcony door open. Sadly, the balcony opened to the hotel wedding reception area so our evenings were disturbed by music with heavy bass and chatter until 12:30am all nights of our stay."

We enjoyed the pool/spa after a long day of driving. I would definitely stay here again. And bonus - very easy access to the Killarney National Park which is a must do if staying here."

"Great location. Walk to restaurant and pub scene. Convenience shopping close by. No air conditioning. We were there late May and weather was cool fortunately. Breakfast not included in our booking but at 16.00 euro each was a generous full selection. We parked behind and no problem."
