I really like this hostel. The staffs are super friendly and cooperative!! The music was absolutely up to the mark! The booking and ticketing facilities in the reception was the easiest! Last but not the least, the football field, uff, my dream place to play on! overall um in love with this hostel! Perfect place for u if you come for partying during Full moon party!

The DJ that ruined everything

Theres nothing good walking distance. But it is situated basically half way to haad rin from thong sala - which makes getting to the full moon party super easy, likewisefor on the hungover trip to the ferry the next day. Hostel food is good, the drinks by pool are cheapish and wont poison you. And they play legitimately good house beats all day. Being a party hotel theres plenty of people to become drunk friends with. The only let down is around 8pm on nights of the warm up parties for jungle experience and full moon party, when someone called DJ Dany takes over and puts on his deafeningly loud trashy pop music. Pretty much ruins your mood, good music gone, cant hear any conversations, just 50cent raping your ears for 4 hours. Otherwise the private rooms are great, surprisingly sound proof, and functioning air con. Nobody seemed to complain about the dorm rooms so they must be fine.

Very strong party vibe, lots of fun if you’re into partying hard and drinking. I booked 2 rooms and turned up to find only 1 available which meant I had to stay in a different place to my friends. I asked the guys who ran it to refund me but they didn’t seem to do much other than email Expedia so I ended up calling Expedia and paying lots of money for the international phone call but got the refund eventually. The one room we did have was very very damp and had no windows

Would not recommend

Even though this is a party hostel, it was still just quite gross and impossible to get any sleep. Got very sick from the food as well. Not ideal that I had to stay for 5 nights minimum at this place during full moon.

Nice inexpensive private off season

Booked private and free upgrade to large aircon room. Very nice staff. Restaurant good food and good price. Room very clean and basic. Before full moon in the back was very quite. Had in room safe but more secure door would be nice.. Beach across street not good. Great soccer field and beach volleyball. Owner offers free soccer for local youth. Very nice!

Party Hostel

Das Hostel ist für seinen Preis ganz ok. Hatten ein Doppelzimmer. Man muss sich im Klaren sein, dass es eben ein Party Hostel ist. Viel Sauberkeit oder Zimmer Service kann man also nicht erwarten. Wir waren 4 Nächte dort und nicht einmal wurde unser Müll geleert. Die öffentlichen Toiletten sind gleichzeitig Dusche und Toilette und wurden erst nach 3 Tagen einmal gereinigt. Trotzdem ist das Ambiente drausen echt klasse, die Mitarbeiter super nett und entspannt! Man lernt sehr leicht Leute kennen, die bar und das "Restaurant" sind 24h geöffnet und jeden Abend gibt es ein Beer Pong Turnier, Billard und anschließend Partys. Ich würde wieder dort hin da die Atmosphäre und die Menschen echt klasse sind. Wenn man sich bewusst ist, dass man für das Geld eben kein Komfort und in Sachen Sauberkeit keinen westlischen Standard bekommt, ist das Hostel empfehlenswert!

Really cool place to stay for the half moon party. Pool area has a good vibe and rooms are great for the low price tag.

Furchtbar

Es war furchtbar. HaB für 6 tage gezahlt und bin naCh einer Nacht geflüchtet. Hatte ein eigenes zimmer mitten in der Party und konnte es von innen nicht verriegeln. Es kamen die halbe Nacht Leute rein und ich hatre angst. Furchtbar.

Good enough

We stayed at this hostel for 3 night and enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and fairly spacious. The shared bathroom was clean as well. The location of the hostel is OK but you do need a scooter to get to it and around the island, I would recommend renting on as soon as you get off the ferry. The hostel has a soccer field and a pool or use as well as ping pong and pool tables, great environment if you are young and looking to party not so much if you are looking for a relaxed stay. Overall we did enjoy it, it's a great choice for budget hostel on the island.

Hidden gem of Koh phangan!

Great hostel if you stay in Baan Tai, extremely great staff that go out of their way to help in everyway possible, i can not say enough! The food is also great quality and a great variety! Breakfast, burgers, spaghetti, pizza, thai dishes and desserts!

Great hang out area, lousy room

Had a really good time on Phangan arena. The parties there were really fun and the areas to hang out on were great: pool, TV, pool tables, football field etc. Also enjoyed the 24h restaurant. However, my room was really small and cramped with four people, which seemed excessive since other, bigger rooms were half full. It also smelled terribly of maybe mold and general dampness, leant by the fact that there were no windows or ventilation. This seems to be a hit or miss situation though, since some rooms were really great. Overall, I would stay here again, maybe just ask for a better room.

Bon emplacement, personnel multilangues un avantage, beaucoup de party dans l'auberge, musique très très forte jusqu'à 2 heure du matin tout les jours, installation propre mais aucun entretien ménagé durant mon séjour et j'avais une chambre seule, base de lit en béton et matelas aussi dure que le béton donc le confort c'est zéro pour un hôtel construit en 2012 c'est décevant de ne pas avoir de meilleur matelas...

Very nice hostel to meet people and party

I stayed there for 4 days and it was a great experience. Met a lot of nice people, the staff is very friendly and the food is very good at the bar! There is a party pretty much every night so you can have fun at the hostel before you go out, or you can just rest in your room. Would recommend

Definition of party hostel!

Best hostel I have been to. Bar and kitchen open 24/7, the hostel is the best place for predrink, party and after-party. The staff is epic and will often party with us! The pool and soccer fields are great as well. Plenty of social spaces et they give the right recommandations for the island. Was supposed to spend 5 nights, I ended up being friends with the staff and staying 11 nights. Amazing experience!

Fun place, definitely coming back here.

The place was absolutely great and definetely the best hostel I stayed in on my trip to Thailand. They have a cool common area where you can take a dip in the pool, play pool or TT, shoot some hoops, or just chill with a beer. The staff is great and helpful. You can rent scooters for the day to go around the island from here and they organize parties at the night where all the guests can have a good time.

Luxury Fun for Full moon

Great stay in what looked like a brand new 2 bed apartment - Really nice to come back to after drinking a lot during the full moon pre-parties! Great hostel vibe and really sociable but the room was quiet because it was the other side of the road - would recommend to anyone (plus you can book less than 5 nights if you do it through hotels.com)
