Wasn’t pleased that we couldn’t even enter the building until check in time, that definitely needs to be looked at for future customers with luggage. "

"Good value, clean warm room in the heart of Reykjavík. Check in was painless and we managed to get an early check in. It is not fancy but it does meet your needs. The big positive for this property is location, very near all the main areas for restaurants and bars but tucked out the way to be quiet. I would come back here if we come to Reykjavík again. "

"We rented a 1-bedroom, 1-bath apartment and it was perfect for my husband and me for 7 days. The check-in process was so easy: we got a code and the apartment number a couple of days before our reservation in their app (which was really great), the code wasn't active until check-in time (3pm), and once 3pm hit, we were able to get into the building and the apartment itself with no issues. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. Absolutely couldn't beat the location- it was close...

"The Swan House is in a good area for accessing everything in Reykjavik. The apartment and neighborhood were quiet and the host was so helpful with prompt responses to emails. Lots of pubs and good places to eat within a few blocks. Convenience stores were also fairly close."

"The room was lovely and we had a view from our window directly onto a ship that was being refurbished - it was so unique! We were very grateful there was free parking and the location was great: close to amenities and the promenade. The breakfast was a buffet with a lot of options. Really grateful for the vouchers we received each night we requested to not have our room cleaned -used towards breakfast one day -since food is so expensive in Iceland. I would say the only thing I didn’t like was...

"Great location. In walking distance of nearly everything. Clean rooms. Parking can be a little challenging."

"The location of the Apotek is wonderful but the room was not great. The room was lava hot until we realized the mini-fridge was the cause and unplugged it. After that the room temperature was fine. It was a quite small room which was challenging for us to work with given there were not easy places to put clothes so we had to work with our suitcases. Finally, the bathroom was in great condition and really clean and modern but the open shower got water all over the room which was less than ideal....

"Highly recommended, I had an amazing stay!! One thing to be aware of is that the hot water in the shower and sink smells pretty strongly of sulfur, but the cold water has no smell."
