"This was our favorite hotel from our entire trip to Japan. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Yuki (I hope I’m spelling his name correctly). The rooms were beautiful, and to top it all off, the hotel offered delicious complimentary udon noodles every night. They even sent us off with sweets to take to our next destination, which was such a thoughtful touch. An excellent experience overall. We absolutely loved Kanazawa."

"Lovely neighborhood, centrally located, and clean space. There was a helpful map included in the room. Most major points of interest in Kanazawa were a reasonable walk from the location. They ability to do laundry was nice after the busier parts of our trip. It is nice to have an option to sleep on tatami or a modern bed in the same space."

"If you want to live an authentic Japanese experience, this is the best place for it. It is well located and comfortable with two floors. It is the house of a samouraï built 150 years ago but with all the modern conveniences: air conditioned in every room, TV, WiFi, fonctional kitchen and even a washer/drier. "We found this a very comfortable place to stay in Kanazawa. The location was convenient, especially for the train station. We were able to walk everywhere. The unit was well-equipped and comfortable. We had a little bit of trouble figuring out the washer/dryer (never could figure out how to choose a wash temperature), but aside from that, we had no problems. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen seemed well stocked. "
