"The room smells like it has a bad drainage system. Once we enter the room and it smells like the toilet has been backed up. The fabric spray provided was useless. Attitude of staff were mixed, some discrimination were definitely present. Felt harrassed by the staff to settle the bill due to deciding to have extra guest in the room which we also had already decided to pay for. "

"The location was convenient. Some restaurants were nearby, one being the best ramen I had. There was a 711 about 2-3 minutes away. The station was about 5 mins away. Was convenient for going to Fushimi Inari and Gion. The Kyoto Station was about 10 minutes away which was fine since we only went twice--once when we came and the second when we left. "This is a great rental with lots to do in the immediate area around the property. The house was very nice and the layout worked for us. I would highly recommend this location for 2 couples or 4 people wanting to stay in Kyoto. The beds were a little hard but that's the only complaint I have. "
