"This property was a treat to stay in, especially for the price. The traditional futons made for a quiet, relaxing evening before a busy day of touring Fujiyoshida. I was a huge fan of the wood floor bathroom and wooden bathtub as well. I would recommend spring or summer stays, as the traditional construction means it will be quite cold in the winter, but it was a lovely stay and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Mt. Fuji."

"Stay was convenient. Although i did try to contact staff by email and phone i had no luck. But i also didnt book directly with the hostel so its not their fault either. Luckily there was somoene willing to help get in contact with staff. Bedding was comfortable enough, room was provided with air conditioning. But all in all its totally fine for a short stay. Right next to family mart and easy self check in ~ bonus!! "

"Check in was a little sketchy, I struggled to find the right door at first and keypad. And when I got into my room, I didn't realize the door would lock behind me when I left. I closed the door to go to the bathroom downstairs and luckily I had my phone on me with my code, but if I had locked my phone in my room without my code I would've been in a really bad spot since there is no receptionist or on-site staff. "Hotel is about 1.5 km from train station, walkable if not with much luggage, or a short 1000 yen taxi ride away. Room was quite large, and while room had private bathroom, the large, indoor public bath on the first floor was very nice and relaxing, very clean and large. There was also a smaller outdoor bath on a covered patio and garden area, with views of Mt Fuji (but not while actually sitting in the bath due to a fence to maintain privacy). Wifi in the room was excellent, which is not always the case with some hotels we stayed at in Japan. There was an outdoor patio on the 3rd floor between the two hotel buildings that offered clear, unobstructed views of Fujisan as well. Easy to use and very convenient laundry facilities on site as well! There is a Lawson konbini adjacent to the property and a shopping mall close by with a grocery store and some other shops. We highly recommend this hotel if staying in the area."

"The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. The view of Mt Fuji was magnificent. Although the dining room was closed for renovation, the breakfasts and dinners were delicious, and delivered to our room. We could enjoy our meals looking at Mt Fuji from our deck or from the room itself. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!"

"We stayed at the hotel for one night. The property has a beautiful garden and offers enjoyable evening activities, including a traditional drum performance. We enjoyed the activities and entertainment during our stay. The dinner presentation was elegant and beautifully executed, making the dining experience very enjoyable. However, While the food was delicious, the portion sizes felt a little light for our appetite. Since we booked relatively late, the standard rooms may have already been sold out, and the only room available included access to the wine lounge. The wine lounge access was bundled into the room rate and could not be excluded. As we are not wine drinkers, we did not take advantage of the wine selection, although we did have some light snacks there after dinner. We traveled to the hotel by bus and then walked the remaining distance. According to Google Maps, it was only about a 15-minute walk, but parts of the route lacked sidewalks, making the walk less comfortable and somewhat inconvenient. We were unsure of our arrival time, so we did not reserve the hotel’s shuttle service in advance. Overall, we found the location a bit inconvenient without a car and ended up taking a taxi when we left. Despite these minor inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hotel’s beautiful setting, unique activities, and quality dining experience."
