"This location was amazing, right on the canal, in the heart of the historic section of Amsterdam. Easy walking distance to huge parts of the city."

"Quiet neighborhood on the canal which is convenient to explore Leiden or go to the beach but there is no town with shops or restaurants to walk to. We had the suite, but it is just a large room so if you want a separate bedroom for privacy, this is not a suite by American standards."

He gave good recommendations for restaurants that we could walk to and what to do in the area. The neighborhood was quaint and peaceful. Our room was inviting, so clean, cheery, cozy, and comfortable. If in the area again we would stay at Johannes’ place."
