O hotel em si é bastante amplo, assim como o quarto, o que traz conforto durante a estadia. O ar-condicionado funciona perfeitamente, um ponto bastante positivo. No entanto, o hotel carece de uma boa reforma. Na área da sacada do quarto e também na piscina, os fios de LED estavam expostos e fora do lugar, o que passa uma sensação de descuido. O chuveiro é bom, porém o banheiro não possui box e o caimento do piso é irregular; ao tomar banho, a água se espalha por todo o ambiente. Essa situação foi informada à recepção, inclusive com a promessa de troca de quarto no dia seguinte, o que infelizmente não ocorreu.

The hotel has seen better days , flies around the food at breakfast , mould on the bedroom walls , the rooms stank.. we stayed for a few hours overnight due to an emergency at nearby hospital so it did the job , do not stay for any longer.

They gave us the wrong room, so we had to pack and change rooms. Then, the air conditioner didn’t work so we had to change rooms again. The facilities are run down everywhere- needs renovation.

First look, good. Bed was among the hardest and squeakiest ever, with uneven and hard sleeping positioning. Really big room and balcony. No elevator, only stairs. Huge pool and very calm and not any ”24h pool occupants”, none! Very old an basically everything is broken one way or another… Shower was good to shower in but I’ve never seen one third of water spraying upwards, and creating water damage in the roof! This hotel really needs a renovation for the price it cost.

Not 4 star. Misleading!

This is definitely not a 4 star property. The toilets clog and stink regularly. The rooms have fungus here and there. Basic amenities like drinking water, tea/coffee were not replenished. Had to ask for these, and were later told that water is chargeable. Not 4 star practice. The breakfast itself was worse than what's offered at the casual restaurants outside the hotel. Again, not 4 star offering. If this is the level of service and quality, they shouldn't brand themselves as 4 star or Ramada. It's misleading and leaves traveller's feeling swindled.

A hotel with a number of problematic guests.

Although the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, it seemed that they often dealt with difficult guests who did not follow the rules. Upon checking in, we were reminded multiple times not to use the electric kettle for boiling tea or coffee. The staff informed us that we would be fined 100 baht if they discovered we had boiled anything in the kettle, which left us confused. After all, an electric kettle is designed to boil water. On our last day, we received two phone calls at 11:00 AM and 11:20 AM, reminding us that checkout was at noon. The caller repeated this information several times, which was quite frustrating. After hanging up, we decided to check out. I feel sorry for the hotel staff who have to manage guests that are loud and lacking in manners and respect. Unfortunately, this experience will be my first and last stay at Ramada by Wyndham.

Disappointed with Ramada / Wyndham!

Upon check in, we requested a ground floor room due to knee issues for one of our parents, they told us they were sold out but if we paid for an upgrade they whispered that they would see what they could do, upgrade was $250 Cdn in cash - would not take credit card. While checking in, another couple wanted a refund, stating the pictures and description on the website definitely did not match what you saw in person. I would second that! Property is showing its age, beds are not comfortable, not even a little bit. Sheets had small tears, stains on accent pillows and walls. Leaks coming from the ceiling in bathroom, lots of mildew build up around tub and sink. The pool was cleaned manually daily but still had oily residue likely from sun screen and the filtering system did not work so they had to run hoses and filters beside the pool which was noisy and a bit disruptive. Lots of pool tiles are missing causing sharp areas. Only 11 lounge chairs available. The upside, good location, close to the action but still a quiet area. There is a 7-11 directly accross the street. The hotel was not full as they had claimed so the place was quiet. If we needed extra towels or water, they responded quickly. Wi-fi was good as well and the rooms on the main floor with pool access were huge... To capture, we spent 7 nights for $800 Cdn plus the $250 upgrade during the last week of February. Not sure if we got what we paid for but I certainly won't be back.

Please don’t be misguided or misled by the name Ramada by Wyndham Aonang Krabi. This property is far from what you might expect from the Ramada chain. Honestly, it was an embarrassment, and we were genuinely shocked by the state of the hotel. Don’t let the photos fool you! Everything in the hotel was old and dirty. While technically liveable, the condition of the property was far below acceptable standards. Dirty curtains, towels that looked like they had been used for years, and an outdated swimming pool in terrible condition (the poolside tables were literally falling apart) were just a few of the issues. Even attempting to use the pool was unpleasant—it left a sticky feeling on the skin! The overall territory of the hotel was poorly maintained and desperately needed a thorough cleaning and significant repairs. If this were marketed as a 2-star or maybe a very low-end 3-star property, it might work for some travelers. But under the Ramada name? No, no, no. Breakfast Woes The hotel offers breakfast for 300 THB per person, but you can easily find far better options just steps from the hotel for around 400 THB for two adults. This is just another example of the lack of value here. Our Experience We booked this property based on the name “Ramada” and the photos, as we’ve had good experiences with Ramada hotels in other countries. Unfortunately, this was a mistake. To avoid disappointment, set your expectations closer to a low-grade hostel, and you might not be as dishearten

Dont be fooled by the name or their pictures. Booked a swimup room, but the pool was super dirty. The entire resort had its prime long ago, and they dont care at all which is a shame since it has alot of potential

Fine rom og basseng og hyggelig betjening

Var der kun en natt så fikk ikke sjekka ut renholdet eller frokosten, da vi reiste veldig tidlig. Men generelt sett et fint hotell, veldig fint stort basseng med bar i bassenget. Fine store rom og hyggelig personale. Rett ved KoDam som er den beste thai restauranten i Ao Nang. Litt unna Ao Nang stranda, som trekker litt ned, men koster kun 100 Bhat med tuktuk ned til byen så ikke noe stort problem. Hvis vi skal ha en natt eller to i Ao Nang igjen så booker vi oss nok inn på dette hotellet.

Vi har bodd på RAMADA i 3 dager.Vi har flere ganger sett på hotellet som et barnevennlig sted, der vi kunne tenkt oss å ta med hele familien. Og nå bestemte vi oss altså for å teste lokalitetene. Det er et hotell som ligger fint til, tilbaketrukket fra hovedveien sin støy og larm. Stort basseng med åpen poolbar. Veldig vennlig betjening. Store rom. Men, for det er dessverre et stort men. Vi sjekket inn på rom i andre etg med utsikt mot poolen. Vi hadde ikke vært der lenge før vi merket mugglukt. Det var gjennomslag av mugg fra badeveggen. Sorte skjolder langs betongveggen. Resepsjonisten ble hentet inn, og vi fikk straks byttet rom, da vedkommende kjente lukten selv. Selv det nye rommet er ikke bra, men bedre. Her er det flere hull gipstaket etter vann fra airconditionen. Også her fuktskjolder på veggen mot badet. Sengene var store, men veldig hårde, om ei uvanlig . Så gjelder det renhold. Trapper og trappevegger kan ikke være seriøst vasket på år! Det ligger et inngrodd lag med skitt over alle overflater. I matsalen var det tydelig at inventaret kanskje kunne trenge en omgang, sokkelen på skapene hadde tydeligvis ikke tålt vannsøl. Frokosten var imidlertid fin. Veldig bra omelett. Dessverre ingen bacon. Uansett er 4 stjerner langt å overdrive. Vi forlanger mer av et hotell i den klassen. Kanskje en svak 3. Vår vurdering på skalaen poeng blir 4, på grunn av hyggelig betjening og god frokost, ikke på grunn av lokalitetene forøvrig. Her bør Wyndham gruppen gjøre en innsats.
