Old fashioned hotel accordance to the malaysian lifestyle . Rooms subjective separated by luxury and ordinary levels.

The room was shabby. There was mold on the bathroom tiles; the tub needed some real cleaning and it smelled moldy - not healthy. The were loose wires hanging from the walls and the wall paper was peeling off. I have to say that the whole place needs updating and attention. The furniture was dented and scratched. It doesn’t seem like the management cares about how clean and presentable the rooms were.
As for the staff, they were very nice and helpful!
Would I recommend it to anyone? No way!!!!

Attended an event at the Shah Alam Theatre, so the primary reason for booking this was the location. Staff was friendly and helpful; the onsite food options were good and convenient. Didn't explore the area so cannot comment on it.
Property is showing its age, and I hope the owners invest in an upgrade. Furnishings showed distress; carpet slightly worn; bathroom porcelain was colored; one elevator kept stalling. However, was pleased with the stay.

Truly unsatisfied & unpleasant experience...
Truly unsatisfied stayed...booked or paid for a twin large beds (twin deluxe) end up with a single king size bed for 2adults & 2kids. Hotel offer either 1king size bed or 2single beds room. Not sure whos wrong but truly an unpleasant stay for my family.

We had to wait for 2 hours to until we get our room keys upon checking in. The rooms were not ready. And when the rooms were ready, the staffs did not call us. The keys were just there waiting for us. We had to requeue to get our keys. The rooms were worn down. I had a pillow without a pillow case and the pillow had stains. My window had a small gap which means that small insects can still come in. We ordered room service. It takes some time for them to deliver maybe because the hotel was fully booked. The problem is when the food finally came, the staff dropped a spoon. He picked up the spoon and put it back in the tray and served us anyway.

I did not add breakfast so I was wondering why does the hotel feedback to Expedia that breakfast was added?? The toilet is not clean. The bathtub have cracks on it. The shower hose is broken. The toilet bowl takes so Long to flush and the bed.. u can feel the spring and it makes my whole body itch. The key card, I don’t know how many times we have to change because once we leave, we can’t enter back to our room. This hotel just can’t be the best hotel in Shah Alam. It’s really bad.

I like the mosque view for sure and I just got to know that they have women's floor only. What I don't like and yet to explore is the facilities on 4th floor (gym, playroom, swimming pool) the floor is wet till inside the elevator and the playroom not so organised.

Heavily smoked-in room; unclean; broken services.
I stayed in a Deluxe Room for one night on business. I was very disappointed with the room I was given after check-in. On arriving in my non-smoking room, I found it (literally) filled with cigarette smoke. This was not just the residual smell of past smokers, but there had clearly been substantial cigarette smoking activity in the room in the past 2-3 hours prior to my arrival. Several drawers on desks had been left open, and the shower curtain and rod were left unattached lying on the floor.
I requested a change of room, but waited nearly 45 minutes to be told of the change. Although I was given a gift (a small cake--pity, I don't eat cake) I found the combination of a heavily smoked-in non-smoking room, the lack of cleanliness, the broken services and the long delay unacceptable for a contemporary hotel.
Checking out took an exceptionally long time to complete (15 minutes for what should have been a 1-2 minute process), causing delays for my meetings.
Sometimes the word 'sorry' is not good enough; sometimes a refund would be expected for such poor quality.
