"A beautiful room and pool over looking the jungle, so relaxing. Staff were wonderful, delivering a delicious breakfast to the room each morning. There was bottled water available in the room. They organised a taxi to pick me up at the airport for about $40AUD. Nice quiet area with some good restaurants, about 20 min walk into the centre of ubud."

"The photos don't truly capture how beautifully landscaped the property is, with lush, beautiful tropical plants everywhere. If you're after a 'jungle' experience, this is for you (surprisingly few mosquitos!) The rooms are cute and basic, but comfortable with great vistas of the jungle. I like how you're supporting a family-run business too. "

"I have never been a beach, bars and booze guy so I never thought of coming to Bali. After visiting Kintamani and staying at Villa Jempana I am regretting not coming sooner. Serene views of the lake and caldera, central to lots of drives and the sunrises and sunsets, even in the rainy season were stunning. "From the moment I arrived, I was utterly captivated by the magnificence of Shankara Munduk Bali. I went here with my friend from Japan and they really like it. The villa itself is clean, very affordable price for this luxury accommodation and it’s near from banyumala waterfall and lake tamblingan as well. The breakfast itself, I really love the Munduk Pancake, it’s unique and not too sweet. After went to waterfall, I ate lunch in the villa. The Indonesian food was amazing, love the plating....

"The property was excellent and the service was great. The only issues I would mention is the distance you have to walk to the Villa. There a a number of steps up and down the mountain. Also the number of staff are limited so getting hold of them can be a challenge. Also it was hard to communicate without knowing the language. But the staff were extremely helpful. Highly recommended the 3 Bedroom Agung Villa but take note if you are staying with the kids that the pool is not blocked off. But...

"Wir haben hier vier Tage als Familie verbracht. Und jeden Tag die Ruhe dieser Oase genossen. Und wir haben alle Mitarbeiter sehr schätzen gelernt, die mit großer Hingabe und Freundlichkeit für uns da waren. Das angeschlossene Restaurant bietet all inclusive Frühstück von einer großen Speisekarte. Abends kann man hier gut und gemütlich essen. Das Hotel liegt drei km entfernt von Ubud Zentrum. Um hier also mobil zu sein, kann man entweder den hoteleigenen Shuttlebus benutzen. Oder aber wie wir...

"The room is very spacious with a big bed. The toilet is very nice as well. The only thing I would note is that for us which came from a tropical climate the temperature around the area might be a bit cold. Also getting grab/gojek is nearly impossible. I would recommend to arrange transport through the hotel to airport and long distance areas if not by bike. "

"Weit abgelegen vom Rummel des Massentourismus findet man hier Ruhe und Entspannung. Vor der wunderschönen Villa liegt ein zugehöriger traumhaft schöner, sehr gepflegter tropischer Garten. Privatsphäre ist großgeschrieben, das Personal agiert sehr dezent im Hintergrund, die Küche ist ausgezeichnet. Man fühlt sich wie in der eigenen Traumvilla! Eine Empfehlung für Ruhe Suchende. "

"Lovely villa in very quiet area of Ubud. If you were looking for a secluded place to get away from every day hustles, this is the place to be!! The wifi connection was decent. The location was very inconvenient if you want to explore central Ubud and only one dining option available within the resort. Some of property features were "overkilled" I thought, like outdoor shower, toilet and living area. Certainly they did add "charm" but when raining, practicality and inconvenience took over. But...
