We were lucky enough to have a private onsen with very clean water at the perfect temperature on a lovely little lanai. "Overall really nice stay at Sagano Hotel, have a simple breakfast (2 pc sandwich & a cup of coffee) in the morning is nice. The room is large with big bathroom & big bed. Have a microwave in room so can buy food at minimarket & self preheat. Wifi at room also really good. No time limit for check in, love it! "First time in Kyoto and we had the best time in this traditional feeling Japanese ryoken. Staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. Their restaurant was traditional, inexpensive and very yummy. No complaints at all, would go back!!! Immaculate gardens around the property, good coffee shop on the parking lots, convenience store close by, close to a major bus route. Absolutely breathtaking neighborhood."
