"The hotel it's small but super clean and well done. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom huge. The only thing is that is on a quiet neighborhood so it's like 20 minute walk to the canal and Nishiki market but still centric enough. Also, the futon sounds like a good idea until the second night and your hips are dying...just saying. It's not as easy as you think if you are 35 or older..."

"A lovely, serene hotel tucked away within the gion neighborhood of Kyoto. Great shower/bath, comfortable Japanese-style beds. We opted for the in-room breakfast one morning and it was equally as wonderful as the hotel overall."
