"Staff don’t speak English bathroom only on the first floor we were staying at the 4th and no dinner and no breakfast available. Good for a step only one night before Kyoto. "
"Comfort hotel is always the best no frill hotel available to when visit Japan. It doesn’t have a lot of bell and whistle like other hotel, but it always have reasonable size room and hearty and healthy breakfast to keep you going when travelling around Japan."
"Needed to stay here because of work. Even with the air-conditioning set to 19 for the entire night, the lowest the room temperature got was 27. It was difficult to sleep and the hotel staff were quite rude. I don't recommend going here unless you absolutely have to"

"Located only a couple of blocks from the main train station, this hotel was a great pick. Incredibly clean as you must take your shoes off at the entrance and roll your luggage through water before entering the lobby, and your room. The variety of hot springs baths you can choose from and the extras, such as evening noodles, ice creams and massage chairs make this a great place for families to stay. There are a number of reasonably priced restaurants nearby along with a token Don Quijote just down the street. Also on the same road as public buses 205 and 206 which take you to the tourist attractions such as the golden Pavillon. "
"Excellent hotel and in a great area. Plenty of restaurants and bars around. Close to the transit and walkable for lots of stuff! Would stay here again for sure!!"
"I liked this property a lot. Convenient location for food and transportation. I could've lived in the basement garden bathroom. Luxurious beyond words. The AC was a bit finicky, but really a non factor. I would definitely recommend this hotel. "
"The staff was helpful during our stay. We did luggage transfer from Kyoto to Tokyo and the staff helped us with the process. The room was very clean, water pressure in the shower was amazing. The bathroom was beautiful and spotless. Good amenities. Location was perfect. Will definitely come again!! "
