"The room was spacious with 2 individual beds and a bunk bed for the kids, small kitchenette and efficient bathroom. The hotel offers a wide variety of amenities and loaner items in case you forgot something. The hotel is located within 10 minutes from. Nijo castle and a subway station. Bus 29 stops in front of Nijo castle and takes you to Kinkaku-ji temple. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The process to get to your room is long, but the staff are super friendly. Price was right for what was described. We took our shoes off in the room as instructed, but the carpet was pretty dirty looking; a good cleaning of the carpet or a refresh with new carpet would be great. Little kitchen was nice, bathroom and shower room were nice, and the balcony was helpful for drying our clothes (there is a washer dryer combo in the room, but the drying part really doesn’t dry your clothes…You will...

Just my wife and rented it but it could easily comfortably hold a family of 6. The people running it ere super nice and very responsive and helpful. I plan to stay there again!"

"We had a wonderful stay at The Royal park Canvas Nijo. We loved the location right across from Nijo Station. We also fell in love with the Life supermarket a block away and enjoyed shopping there. There are a variety of restaurants near by too we tried a few but if you are on a budget the Life Market nightly discount bentos are tasty and a great deal. Where else can you get a bento for less than $5 CAD. We had a triple room. So it was 2 single bed with a made up sofa bed. The rooms are ok size...
