"Stayed in room 8 was a nice room but it was a mezzanine room (which I knew about before I booked) would be an issue for anyone who wanted to access the bathroom; down a metal staircase during the night, had to leave the bathroom light on to illuminate the stairs that was the only thing, as I said it was well documented in the description before I booked "

"Fabulous stay at the charming and charismatic Casa Birmula which is so full of period character. The room and bathroom were clean with good amenities overlooking the alley - lovely to sit on the balcony and listen to the bells or the birds. The location is great too explore the quaint streets of Birgu or close to the Valletta Ferry to wander the bustling streets of Valletta. Maureen and Arz are very welcoming and there is lots of choice at breakfast, please try the omelette. We loved our stay...

"Brilliant location for walking to centre of Valletta or to ferries . It is also on a city circular town bus if tired at end of a day sightseeing. Very friendly staff who went out of their way eg to heat up some water for an evening Lemsip! Very good breakfast. Would definitely stay there again."

"Das Personal war sehr freundlich und immer zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet, allerdings gab es immer wieder Probleme beim Empfang von TV-Sendern. Das Frühstück war erstklassig. Jeden Morgen konnte man sich etwas frisch zubereiten lassen. Hervorzuheben ist ebenfalls die Dachterrasse mit Pool. Hier gab es einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf den Hafen von Valletta."
