"I stayed in the Ocean Tower in an oceanfront room. The room was excellent and the property grounds were sprawling and well kept. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The only issue was the tram was not working and, if you are staying in the ocean tower as I was, it is a long walk or shuttle ride to get to the main building and parking. There are also cockroaches in the room. What's more, parking fees are charged in advance, yet we are told there are no available parking spaces. "It had adequate parking and plenty of towels. Wish we had noticed a beach chair in one of the closets. Check in and out was super easy. I thought it'd be a little closer to all the shops and restaurants but oh well. It had a window unit AC in the living room only so the bedroom could get a little stuffy. Also, if you left any dirty dishes in the sink for even a day, you'd get what looked like baby roaches in the sink and on the counter. They weren't very frequent."

"今回の滞在にはとてもがっかりしています。 部屋のベッドやバスルームに、蚊や小さな虫の死骸がたくさんありました。自分で何度か掃除しましたが、その後もまた虫が出てきては死んで落ちてきます。おそらく殺虫剤を使った直後だと思うのですが、それが人体に影響ないのか少し不安です。 夜中にどうしても我慢できずフロントに電話して、翌日の清掃スタッフに伝えてほしいとお願いしました。ですが、「バルコニーのドアや窓を開けないでください」と言われただけでした。 私は遅い時間にチェックインしていて、そもそもドアや窓は開けていないと伝えたのですが、「Ok，good」と言われただけで、特に謝罪もありませんでした。まるでこちらに問題があるような対応で、とても不快に感じました。 翌日、清掃スタッフの方にメモを書いて、チップもお渡しし、「できればしっかり掃除をお願いしたい」と伝えました。 その日の夜に部屋へ戻ると、小さい飛び虫は少し減っていましたが、ゴキブリの死骸がありました。 正直、使われている殺虫剤が人体に影響ないのかも分からず、不安な気持ちのまま滞在することになりました。全体的にとても不満の残る滞在でした。"

"The hotel is dated and need full renovation. The location is good but in some areas they allow outside people to use the amenities. I had a late fight leaving Kona 9:55pm and asked for a possible extension of my stay willing to pay additional charge for the extra hours. Basically they said they were totally booked so I need to pay full day charge to stay an extra 5 hours in my room. It was a rip-off!
