"quaint but alot of quirks"

"They need to update the rooms. The bathroom needs to be painted and the door didnt lock. The ceiling looks like it will come down. There is chipped paint all over the property. The carpeting needs to be replaced. It looks like its been at least 30 or 40 years since the place has been renovated. The location is excellent and its near the water. Great views, but the property needs a major renovation and decorating."

"We had a wonderful stay! The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was updated and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had really nice bath products. The location in downtown was ideal. We parked and walked everywhere. It was very convenient. We also loved that the hotel was historic. There is a coffee shop in the hotel building but a couple others within a block. Highly recommend."

"The AC/Heater worked perfectly. Room was clean. Amenities, just enough Pleasant staff/front desk Price reasonable Safety - Lots of lights I spent only one night (twice); my overview during the quick exhausted night was really short. Yes, I recommend it if the stay is for a short period of time. The smokers stay too close to the entrances/back doors. I noticed the laundry room looking unclean made me wonder about materials washed... Believe it or not I would return again because of the price."

"Stayed there for 4 nights with family. This was our pitstop before a college visit in NY. The location was weird, hard to find off the freeway. Literally no exit, just a lane off the highway which we nearly missed. Also lots of construction in the whole area making it difficult to locate the entry. The room was basic but clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable (a true plus point). Towels clean. Room had a microwave and a fridge. Housekeeping was only every other day. Toilet seat was...

"The hotel looks more like a motel. There are people living there, and as soon as you arrive it smells strongly like cigarettes and marijuana. You can call and call, and no one answers. The room itself is clean, but it still smells a lot like marijuana. The jacuzzi’s water handle is broken, so you can’t turn the water on properly. The only good thing is pets friendly and it’s free "

"This is a very good hotel. The first night I stayed at another hotel and it was terrible from A to Z. I found this one, prices were great. For $10 more it was 100X better, clean. Felt safer. Staff was polite and inviting. It felt like i had a mini apartment whuch made my stay so much more worth it. I would def come back. "

"Clean rooms. Breakfast and coffee weren’t that great. I did not like the room setup. The bathrooms was located right in front of the beds which I found weird. Anytime someone would use the bathroom The bright lights would go through the glass bathroom door and wake everyone up. The bathrooms needs a fan. It’s not bad place but it is strange. "

"Relatively clean room, it did have a broken rear window. Misty odor. Staff was friendly enough. Breakfast coukd have a little more selection. Parking was fine."
