"This was a lovely and modernized hotel with surprisingly spacious rooms. It is about a $16 dollar Uber/Taxi ride (in 2026) to downtown or about a 45 min walk to downtown. Near the park and the Szechini Baths (about 15 mins walk) and close to stores, train stations, and amenities. Staff are friendly and front desk staff speak solid English. Each room is air conditioned and has its own mini-fridge. The only minor complaint I would have is that the fridges do not get very cool but I am aware...

The room was good and well appointed although I felt a little small for the price. Staff were lovely, and concierge helpful. Had a minor issue with the bedroom fridge flashing its inner light at night through the glass door, which they resolved by turning it off - in a heatwave! "Love this hotel. It's an easy ride from the main train station and easy to find. The staff at check-in were very nice and helpful. The inside of the hotel is lovely. Our room, a Superior Twin, is small, but the storage, bathroom, and Nespresso machine are well organized to make the best use of the space. "building is very old, though apt is considered clean. dryer is broken and could not be used. when I informed the receptionist regarding this matter, she told me that other guests had informed her days before and she thought the dryer will fix itself. "The hotel is in a good location for transit- close to Octagon. Lots of good restaurants in the area. Rooms are very nice with modern amenities- great shower. The only thing that stopped me from giving 5 stars was the less than enthusiastic front desk and breakfast staff. They were fine- but not welcoming or enthusiastic to make your stay special. Overall a really good hotel at a moderate price point. Would recommend for sure."
