Just 5 mins walk from Kyoto station, easy enough to find, very quiet neighbourhood, with big shopping mall nearby.
the house is tiny but you got everything you need in there, its our first time to try futon, not the best comfort, but its Japanese style so we are happy to try. the living room is nice and clean, we love the little garden too.
Excellent location - short walk to Kyoto station, 2 large shopping malls and a laundrette just around the corner. Reasonable cooking facilities but not enough room for 2 people to pass in this galley (to reach the hand basin and shower). In reality that was not much of a problem. Good WiFi. We would certainly stay here again.

A Japanese style apartment, close to Kyoto station
The unit is divided to 2 floors, not easy to go to bath room at night. The stairway is extremely steep. Everything is small but enough for three of us to use.
A small kitchen, too bad, there is no cooking oil, salt to use. Entire stay we did not cook only boiled a pot of hot water.
The house was in a quiet neighborhood even though it was in the center of the city's main transportation hub. We were only a few blocks from the train station and a major bus terminus. The house was traditional Japanese style, with futons and thick duvets. The kitchen was a bit cramped but well-equipped. The bathtub was nice and deep, and we could control the temperature of the water--perfect for a good long soak. The bedroom was huge, on the second floor, reached by narrow, steep steps.
