One of the best hotel I stayed in Japan and many country. Large room on japanese standard. Smack in a nice neighborhood and cultural site. Great service with good command of english. Bonus: good sake choices (free). Perfect.

We had an excellent time at Nol Kyoto Sanjo. Check in was a breeze and the staff were very helpful and kind. The hotel is very clean and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay there.

The hotel was perfect, easily one of the best we’ve stayed at on our trip for the price. The room was spacious, clean and had a ton of amazing amenities including a huge wood tub, in-room laundry and very comfortable beds. Close to the subway, local attractions and great restaurants.

お部屋の間取りもよく、ミニキッチンや洗濯乾燥機などもあって使い勝手が良かったです。また、檜葉風呂を中心とした浴室は好印象です。全体的には清掃も行き届いており快適でしたが、水回りに羽虫が複数飛んでいたのがやや残念でした。ナイトウェアに長い白髪が絡んでいたのは気になりましたが、すぐに交換して頂けました。

We recently stayed here and we loved it! We booked the Hibaburo deluxe and the room exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, a beautiful space and the amenities were everything we needed (the washing/dryer was super useful to us during our time there). The wooden bathtub was wonderful after a day full of exploring on foot. This hotel is close to Nishiki markets, public transport and other great sights. The staff are very helpful and polite and helped us to send our luggage to the next city we visited. We’d definitely stay again and recommend it highly to anyone considering.

We would definitely stay at nol again in our future trips to Kyoto. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We loved the idea of nightly free snacks and sake tasting stations. The room was well designed and we enjoyed the wooden bath very much. Everything at the property had so much thought put into it.

We loved our stay at nol. 10/10. The property itself is beautiful; contemporary and comfortable. Loved having the washer/dryer in the room. The staff were all lovely and very helpful, went out of the way to assist. Terrific area walkable to subway and buses, Nishiki market, tons of shopping & dining, about 15 min walk to the river and a little further to Gion. Amazing stay, so good we added an extra night!

Two night family stop over on route to Hiroshima from Tokyo. We all loved the hotel and area. Very easy to walk to local tube station and into main shopping areas. Comms and hotel quality were great, would return. If we ever come back *****.

Absolutely breathtaking! The hotel has a nice look on the outside, but on the inside it's so incredibly nice! The room was perfect and the staff was so incredibly nice and helpful when it came finding a place for dinner.
